Here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls, we love nothing more than to report on sales records broken by our favorite automakers. With the release of the 2013 May sales report, we were thrilled to see that the Jeep brand had two records to celebrate. Not to mention the fact that it saw an overall increase of 11 percent in sales when compared to last year; the best Jeep sales that have been recorded since 2007.

To properly highlight all of the performance enhancing features offered by its SRT lineup, Chrysler decided to launch its first-ever marketing campaign for the brand this summer. There is much more to the new Chrysler lineup than meets the eye, which is exactly what customers will learn about through the campaign titled "Body and Soul."

Each year Strategic Vision evaluates models based on over 440 different factors, to determine which model stands out among its competitors in each vehicle segment. Responses from owners of 2013 model-year vehicles were then gathered based on categories that range from reliability and customer satisfaction to emotional attachment and vehicle popularity. About 17,568 individuals participated in the quantitative study this year to help Strategic Vision develop its Total Quality Index.

Employees at the Chrysler Group's Toledo Assembly Complex in Ohio recently had quite the accomplishment to celebrate. As the one millionth new Jeep model rolled off the production line on May 17, 2013, loud cheers ensued. The 10^th Anniversary Edition of the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was born, marking a major milestone for the automaker.

Last year, RAM partnered with the NHL Red Wings to sponsor the team and create the successful RAM 1500. Now, the brand is thinking about taking a step farther by partnering with additional teams and franchises.

Since the inception of the automobile, automakers found intriguing ways to advertise them. Most recently, Chrysler found a very innovative way to target its customers. By partnering with the new Broadway show "Motown: the Musical," Chrysler will advertise to patrons who are a bit on the "artsy" side. The company has also launch a new television ad around the partnership which stars Motown founder and music producer Berry Gordy. To add to the fun, the brand built a special edition vehicle to  celebrate the partnership: a white Chrysler 300 "Motown Edition."
