The 2013 Dodge Dart has made its way to the Klamath Falls area, and Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath couldn't be more excited! To whet your appetite for the all-new small sedan, here are some interesting tidbits:
The new Dart is available in five trims this year: SE (starting at $15,995), the SXT (starting at $17,995), and the Limited (starting at $19,995). There is also a mid-level Rallye trim and a GT trim, which will be added as a mid-year addition.
Though the base model comes rather sparsely equipped, an available Value Group package adds power mirrors and locks, air-conditioning, and keyless entry. Stepping up to the SXT trim will get you 7-inch alloy wheels, a six-speaker sound system, and upgraded cloth upholstery. Several packages are available, such as the Popular Equipment Group, Premium Audio Group, and more. The Limited model comes standard with Bluetooth, chrome exterior trim, and more. The soon-to-come GT boasts a more powerful engine, leather seating, unique interior and exterior trim, and 18-inch wheels. There are several high-tech and ultra-comfort packages available for both of these models.
As far as power is concerned, the new Dart comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 160-hp. A six-speed manual transmission is standard with this engine, though an automatic is optional. Fuel economy is estimated at 29 mpg combined for the manual and 27 combined for the automatic. Optional on all trims except the GT is a turbocharged 160-hp 1.4-cylinder engine that increase fuel efficiency.
