When you look at a 2017 Jeep Wrangler in all its boxy, round-headlight glory, you think about its history. Its seven-slot grille conjures up the image of the original Willys MB carrying soldiers over muddy roads in World War II.
Back then, the rugged SUV was manufactured in Toledo, Ohio. Today... the Jeep Wrangler is still made in Toledo, and it's the most American-made car of 2017, according to Cars.com.

"In Cars.com’s 2017 American Made Index, the Wrangler’s American roots prove as deep as its image. The SUV has long been a Cars.com favorite for off-roaders and sun-lovers."
The factory workers of Toledo are passionate about the Jeep Wrangler, too, not just for its deep history, but its recent history. The economic recession of 2008 hit the auto industry hard, but the recently-introduced Wrangler Unlimited was an instant hit, and sales stayed high throughout the crisis, protecting jobs in the community.
