Here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls, we’re not necessarily surprised to see that the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Challenger won the titles of “Most Ideal Mid-Size SUV” and “Most Ideal Sporty Car” from the 2016 AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards respectively—after all, it’s the sixth year in a row that the Grand Cherokee has nabbed this title, and it marks the fourth year for the Dodge Challenger. So, maybe we’re not surprised, but we’re more than a little proud!

The AutoPacific Ideal Vehicle Awards are based on the survey responses of actual new-model owners within the first 90 days of ownership. They’re asked what they would change about their vehicles in 15 key areas, including but not limited to: power and acceleration, technology, safety features, storage, ride feel, and handling. One thing we love about winning this particular honor is the fact that it’s based on the assessments of actual vehicle owners, and not just the appraisal of automotive judges. And that’s not to say we don’t appreciate the opinions of these professionals—it’s just so nice to know that our customers are enjoying their Jeep brand and Dodge vehicles well after they roll off the lot!

“The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been a consistent winner in AutoPacific’s Ideal Vehicle Award research. For the last six years, Grand Cherokee owners have rated the vehicle as the SUV best targeted to its owners’ wants and needs,” said George Peterson, president of AutoPacific, Inc. “Grand Cherokee owners want very little changed. This is a testament to the excellence Jeep planners, designers and engineers have in understanding exactly what their customers want.”
