The wonderful thing about ringing in the New Year if you're a dealership like Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is seeing the annual sales reports from your preferred automaker. This year, the fine folks at Chrysler did a fantastic job of making sure the new models they had to offer made it to drivers all across America.

"The Chrysler Group ended the year with a 6 percent sales gain in December and our 45th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains," said Head of U.S. Sales, Reid Bigland, in the sales press release. "Our Jeep and Ram Truck brands had a strong finish led by the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee and the RAM pickup truck, Motor Trend's 2014 Truck of the Year."

"Sales of the new Cherokee topped 15,000 units in December as our newest SUV continues its solid sales performance out of the gate." 1

In addition to the 15k sales number, the Cherokee also beat out the ever-popular Wrangler, which has consistently ranked as the brand's second bestselling vehicle throughout 2013.

Overall, the Chrysler Group pushed a total of 1.8 million models last year, a 9 percent increase over 2012 and the brand's best annual sales posting since 2007. If we were the sales team at Chrysler, we'd be busting out an extra bottle of champagne about now.
